1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using BookU Hub ('the Platform'), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. These terms form a legally binding contract between you and BookU Hub Ltd.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid UK private-hire or taxi driver licence to use the Platform as a driver. You warrant that all information you provide is accurate and up to date.

3. Account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscription & Billing

Plans are billed monthly via Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. A 30-day free trial is offered to new users — no card required to start. After the trial, your chosen plan rate applies. Prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable.

5. Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not offer pro-rata refunds for partial months, except where required by UK consumer law.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: use the Platform for any unlawful purpose; attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform; transmit malicious code; scrape or copy content; or misrepresent your identity or credentials.

7. Platform Role

BookU Hub is a software tool for managing bookings and records. We are not a transport operator, licensed operator, or party to any journey. We do not employ drivers and are not responsible for any journey, passenger safety, or third-party disputes.

8. Payments via Stripe Connect

Drivers who enable Stripe Connect agree to Stripe's Connected Account Agreement. BookU Hub charges a £0.05 platform fee per non-cash transaction. Payouts are processed weekly on Tuesdays.

9. Intellectual Property

All platform content, branding, and software are owned by BookU Hub Ltd. You retain ownership of your own data. You grant us a licence to use your data solely to provide and improve the Platform.

10. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, BookU Hub Ltd is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will give at least 14 days' notice of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance.
